Pre-packaged granola is always easy to source but making sure it is made with healthy ingredients is not always as simple. And when you are following the Mediterranean diet, avoiding ultra-processed packaged foods is an extra smart idea.
When you make your own, you make it yours. Choose the nuts you like best, choose your favorite fruits, you can even add a drizzle of maple syrup if you want to boost the flavor and you don’t happen to have any of George’s honey in the pantry!
