Here’s how to make healthy Spanish French toast. This healthy no-fry, no egg version of Spain’s famous french toast known as torrijas is a dinner dessert, not breakfast in Spain.
But this is unlike any other torrijas recipe, which usually calls for dipping the bread in egg and then frying it on the stovetop in a deep amount of oil. This oven-baked version changes all that, making it much healthier and far easier to put together.
