salad makes a disappearing act
Growing up in Michigan, corn season was a highlight of the summer when we could head over to the farm early in the morning with a big cooler in the car and collect fresh ears for the day... keeping them cool before the natural sugars converted to starch.
The rest is simple. Shuck, cut the kernels off, cook lightly and make plenty. This will be the first dish of the party to disappear!
