So many great ideas in these Saturday dispatches! I love the idea of adding zucchini and cauliflower to a smoothie. It’s a very clever way to add veggies to breakfast!

I made these tonight for dinner. It can be challenging to get ground turkey flavorful and tender. You nailed it! So good. I didn’t make a sauce to go with, just pasta topped with a really good olive oil and some Parmesan cheese. Next time I will make a double batch and freeze in meal size portions. And experiment with sauces.

Great recipes this week Caroline. I love my Sunday morning with my first coffee of the day and your newsletter after I come in from out on the farm getting my 10minutes in the morning sun with my dog Maggie and a glass of water. I look forward to Sunday mornings and reading your delicious recipes. All of which is on this week’s menu for sure although will do chicken mince as I don’t like turkey. Those meat balls sound so flavourful. I was thinking of making a huge batch, keeping some for my meal the rest to go in the freezer in portions ready to go when I need them. Your salad I am making today as I have all the ingredients required. Thank you for a lovely newsletter.

Hi there buddy! Thanks for taking the time to send me a note. I always look forward to hearing from you too. Chicken will work just as well as turkey, so go for it. And a big batch? Yes, maam. I froze a bunch too and they defrosted beautifully. Take good care, enjoy the change of seasons. We had a beautiful warm week to tease us into thinking winter was over but... not so fast. This week is straight cloudy, rainy and cold so I'm happy to be inside playing in the kitchen. XO C

Ahhh changing of the seasons are my favourite times of year. So much variety, nature changes and animals too change their behaviours. I’m so impressed by these meatballs Caroline. I had some of them last night with spaghetti and a big side salad. Froze a bunch in 3 servings ready for another time to bring out and cook. I’ve also been trolling your videos on YouTube. Whilst still having dairy in my breakfast was thinking I need to change from my usual. My doctor yesterday made some workable suggestions and I watched your videos on YouTube on brekkies. Great ideas there. Thank you for so much of what you do to help me and everyone eat well.
